Sarah Alice Lee has extensive
experience in all aspects of underwater photography
and especially photographing babies and young
children underwater. In 2003 Sarah began taking
pictures of babies underwater for Swim Schools.
Sarah teamed up with Urchin rock in 2005 and
has continued working closely with Zena Holloway
and Emma Critchley to photograph babies underwater
for some the largest and best known Swim Schools
throughout the UK. She has also recently had
her highly acclaimed images of babies underwater
published by PADI and featuring in their, 'Deep
Dive - when baby depths just won't do', advertising
campaign.
Sarah studied Photography
BA(Hons) at the Falmouth College of Arts in
Cornwall. At the age of fourteen she learnt
to dive in The Red Sea and at nineteen qualified
as a PADI Dive Master in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
Whilst studying in the UK, Sarah went on to
become a qualified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
and has taught extensively in the UK. Sarah
is also qualified as an Emergency First Response
(EFR) Instructor.
Urchin rock was established
to meet the growing demand for high quality
underwater images and to make them accessible
online. Urchin rock work closely with many baby
swim groups in the UK and abroad and are frequently
holding photo shoots for babies and parents.
Urchin rock also run their own private underwater
shoots and private individual commissions. Please
